Delhi will have its own education board, Delhi cabinet approved
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a big announcement in a digital press conference after the cabinet meeting today and said that Delhi will have its own board of education. For which the cabinet has approved.
Arvind Kejriwal said that 'Delhi Board of School Education' will be established and this board will make revolutionary changes in the education system of Delhi towards new heights.
Kejriwal further explained the importance of this board and said that the whole country is seeing that revolutionary changes have taken place in Delhi's education system in the last six years. For this, we started keeping 25 per cent of the budget for education every year.
Kejriwal said that the purpose of the Delhi Board of School Education will be to make students good people, to make them patriots and to prepare students for employment. He said that now the emphasis will be on learning rather than rote.
Delhi School Education Board will have three goals-
- Students should be ready to take responsibility for the country.
- Will prepare children for employment, not for seeking employment.
- Be a good human being, forgetting the difference of any religion, caste and rich and poor.

(केजरीवाल ने आगे इस बोर्ड की अहमियत के बारे में बताते हुए कहा कि पूरा देश देख रहा है कि बीते छह सालों में दिल्ली की शिक्षा व्यवस्था में क्रांतिकारी बदलाव हुए हैं। इसके लिए हमने हर वर्ष बजट का 25 प्रतिशत शिक्षा के लिए रखना शुरू किया।)

दिल्ली स्कूल एजुकेशन बोर्ड के तीन लक्ष्य होंगे-
- देश की जिम्मेदारी उठाने के लिए तैयार हों विद्यार्थी।
- बच्चों को रोजगार मांगने के लिए नहीं रोजगार देने के लिए तैयार करेंगे।
- किसी भी धर्म, जाति और अमीर-गरीब का फर्क भूल अच्छे इंसान बनें।
