What are the Requirements/ Eligibility Criteria to Join Pak Army as ICTO:
- Only a maximum of 28 years old Male can apply for Information communication and technology officer.
- Candidate Material Status should be unmarried.
- The candidate who has completed their 16 years of education in one of the following fields will be eligible to join the Pakistan army as Information Communication and Technology Officer:

How to Register for ICTO in Pakistan Army:
So, if you want yourself to register for Information communication and Technology officer you have two options in front of you.
You can either apply online through the Pak Army website or by visiting the nearest Pakistan Army Selection and Recruitment Center.
Documents Required at AS&RC for ICTO:
- Original Certificates/ Detailed Mark Sheet of all certificates and degrees along with five attested photocopies of each educational certificate/degree.
- Candidates who are already serving in other government departments have to submit the No objection Certificate from the concerned Department.
- Attested photocopy of domicile
- Photocopies of CNIC
- 6 passport-size photographs from which one should be attested from the front and the other 5 from the backside.
- The candidate must have to come up with a degree attested from HEC/PEC.

Preliminary Selection Procedure for ICTO:
After completing your registration for ICTO, you will be called for the Initial/Academic test of ICTO at the Army Selection and Recruitment Center. This Initial Intelligence test will consist of Verbals and Non-Verbals and Academic Test will consist of multiple choices from the respective fields such as Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, etc.
After Successfully Passing the Initial Intelligence and Academic Test Candidate will undergo Initial Medical Test at Army Selection and Recruitment Center.
After the medical test candidate will have to pass a physical test which includes:
- 1.6 Km run in 9 minutes
- 10 push-ups in 2 minutes
- 10 sit-ups in 2 minutes
- 2 chin-ups in 2 minutes
Further Selection of ICTO:
Candidates who qualify for the initial tests will be called for an ISSB test and Interview. After the recommendation of ISSB shortlisted candidate will undergo a GHQ interview and after successfully passing the GHQ interview shortlisted candidate will undergo for Detailed Medical Examination at CHMs. The final Selection of ICTO will be made by analyzing the overall performance of candidates at GHQ.
