- Both males and females can apply for the army Short Service regular Commission. Both married and unmarried males or females can also apply for SSRC.
- Height for males should be a
minimum of 5 feet 4 inches for females should be minimum of 5 feet and where it should be according to body mass index. - Candidate nationality should be Pakistani. after a successful election candidates has to sign a bond to serve the Pakistan army for at least 5 years.

To get register yourself for Short Service Commission you can apply online directly through the internet by signing up on the Pak army official website with an email account. After successful online registration, you will be notified by email about the date and time for your initial written and personality test. OR you can register yourself for Pak Army Short Service regular Commission by visiting the nearest Army selection and recruitment center with the top comments that are necessary.
Documents required for short service regular Commission
- Original certificates details mark sheet with two attested photocopies of diploma degree and certificate
- Two attested photocopies of registration of PMDC for GDMO, GDDO, Specialist, and PTC Officers.
- Candidates who are already government employees in any department have to submit no objection certificate from the respective department.
- Attested photocopy of domicile.
- Attested photocopy of CNIC.
- Three passport size photographs should be attested from both sides.
Preliminary Selection Procedure for SSRC Captain/Major:
Candidates will be get notified by email about the date and time for the initial written and personality test for Short Service Regular Commission captain major.
Written/ Intelligence/ Personality Test:
So this is the first phase of your selection as a captain nature in the Pak Army SSRC. this initial intelligence written test will be based on multiple-choice questions and will be conducted at the Army selection and recruitment center.
Preliminary Initial Medical:
Candidates who will pass the initial intelligence written test will be qualified for the initial medical test which will be conducted at Army selection and regular center.
Candidates after passing the initial medical test will be called by GHQ for an interview. After that shortlisted candidate will undergo a detailed medical examination combined military hospital. Final selection of candidates' emails at general headquarters by analyzing the overall performance of candidates.
