The Central Pollution Control Board has submitted a report of 112 polluted sites in the country, in which Delhi has been ranked number three.
Recently, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) ranked Odisha first among the 112 most polluted sites in the country. And Uttar Pradesh is second and Delhi is third in this list.
According to the Ministry of Environment, polluted sites are areas where the quantity of toxic and hazardous substances in the garbage and waste is adversely affecting the health of the people living nearby.
The CPCB has identified the 112 most polluted sites in the country. Of these, 23 Odisha and 21 sites have been identified in Uttar Pradesh, while 11 such polluted sites have been found in Delhi. Apart from this, a total of 168 sites have been identified in the country, but there is no investigation at present.

(सीपीसीबी ने देश के 112 सबसे प्रदूषित स्थलों की पहचान की है। इनमें से 23 ओडिशा और 21 स्थल उत्तर प्रदेश में चिह्नित किए गए हैं, जबकि दिल्ली में ऐसे 11 प्रदूषित स्थल मिले हैं। इसके अलावा भी देश में कुल 168 स्थल चिह्नित किए गए हैं, लेकिन वहां फिलहाल जांच नहीं हुई है।)
