Recently on 19 February 2021, Home Minister Amit Shah released the book 'Nation First - Golden Saga of 82 Years' in New Delhi. This book depicts the dignified history of CRPF, its entire journey, challenges, successes and dedication.
Speaking on the occasion, Amit Shah said that be it Left Wing Extremism areas, border areas or the security of Parliament, CRPF personnel have always been at the forefront. It further said that this book will inspire the soldiers of the force and others.
The Home Minister said that the government is working on a scheme under which the soldiers of the force will be able to spend at least a hundred days in a year with their family.
