How to join Pakistan Air Force through a permanent commission?
Candidates who have passed matric, FSC, or ICS usually apply for Pakistan Air Force permanent commission to join different branches.
General duty pilot:
If you want to join Pakistan Air Force as a GD pilot then your age should be between 16 to 22 years marital status should be unmarried nationality should be Pakistan should be 5 feet 4 inches education should be FSC pre-engineering FSC premedical for ICS with at least 60% marks. Candidates with a level in physics math for biology can also apply for GD pilot in Pakistan Air Force.
I want to mention that both males and females can apply for GD pilot and the height should be the same for both males and females which is 5 feet 4 inches minimum.
After qualifying for permanent commission candidate will undergo three years of training at PAF Academy Risalpur in BS Aviation Science and Management from Air University.
Aeronautical engineering:
If anyone wants to join the aeronautical engineering branch then-candidate age should be from 16 years to 22 years, height should be a minimum of 5 feet 4 inches for males and five feet for females. Both males and females can join Pakistan Air Force in the aeronautical engineering branch but their marital status should be unmarried. For aeronautical engineering in Pakistan, an Air Force candidate must have passed his/her matric in the first division and FSC engineering within 65% marks with chemistry as a subject. A levels students with physics Math and chemistry subjects can also apply.
Those candidates who will qualify Pakistan Air Force permanent commission will undergo 3 years of training at the college of aeronautical engineering to get a BS engineering Degree from NUST.
Air defense:
The only males can apply for the Air defense branch in Pakistan Air Force. Their age should be from 16 years to 22 years marital status should be unmarried add should be minimum of 5 feet 4 inches education should be FSC pre-engineering ICS with 60% marks for a level Physics biology or math.
After passing permanent commission for Air Defense candidate will undergo three years of training at PF Academy Risalpur to get BSc in aviation sciences and Management.
Admin and special duties:
For this branch, the only males can apply with 16 years to 22 years age limit, their marital status should be unmarried, height should be minimum 5 feet 4 inches, education should be in FSC pre-engineering pre-medical ICS with 60% marks. A level students with physics math or biology can also apply.
Logistics
In order to join the Pakistan Air Force logistics branch through permanent commission candidate, height should be from 16 years to 22 years, height should be minimum 5 feet 4 inches matric in the first division and FSC engineering with 60% marks in chemistry.
Selection procedure for permanent cadet courses:
First of all, candidates have to register for Pakistan Air Force permanent commission course. That candidate can either apply online through their website or can visit the Pakistan Air Force recruitment center with required documents.
After successful registration for the Pakistan Air Force, permanent commission candidates have to undergo an intelligence test. After passing the intelligence test candidates have to pass the academic test which may include multiple-choice questions from physics, chemistry, maths, biology subjects.
Those candidates who will pass leave initial intelligence and academic test will undergo a preliminary medical examination at PAF I&S centers.
After that candidates have to fill-up the form for ISSB chess and interviews.
ISSB will call candidates after few days of preliminary medical examination.

How to Join Pakistan Air Force Through Short Service commission:
Candidates with graduation or above qualifications usually apply for the Pakistan airports Short Service commission.
Admin and special duties.
To be eligible For Pakistan Air force admin and special duties branch through Short Service commission candidate nationality should be Pakistan, marital status no matter if married or unmarried, age should be 18 years to 30 years, height should be minimum 5 feet 4 inches and education should be and MSC, MBA, MBA, BA, BSc 4 years having FSC with 2nd Division.
Only males are eligible for this branch.
Candidates who qualify for short service commission for admin and special duties branch will undergo 1-year training.
Logistics:
To be eligible for the Pakistan Air Force logistics branch candidate nationality should be Pakistani, gender should be Male, marital status no matter if married or unmarried, age should be from 18 years to 33 years, height should be a minimum of 5 feet 4 inches, and education should be MBA, BBA 4 years with second division.
Candidates who will qualify Short Service commission for the logistics branch undergo a 1-year training program.
Accounts
To be eligible for the Pakistan Air Force transfer branch candidate should be from 18 years to 30 years, height should be a minimum of 5 feet 4 inches, marital status or matter if married or unmarried, nationality should be Pakistani, education should be BCom 4 years, BBA and MBA finance, ACCA or ACMA, BS accounting and finance minimum second division.
The training period will be of 1 year through the Short Service Commission for accounts branch in Pakistan Air Force.
Legal:
If anyone wants to join Pakistan Air Force legal branch then his gender should be male, nationality should be Pakistani, marital status no matter is married or unmarried, age should be from 18 years to 30 years, height should be a minimum of 5 feet 4 inches and education should be LLB with second revision training period we will be 1 year.
Meteorology:

Information technology branch:
To join the Pakistan Air Force information technology branch candidate nationality should be Pakistani, height should be a minimum of 5 feet 4 inches, age should be 18 years to 30 years, marital status no matter, if married on unmarried only males, are eligible for that.
Candid education should be MSC computer science IIT MCS, BSc honors in computer Science, BCS or BSc in computer science.

Education

The training period will be of 1 year for selected candidates.

Education religious Cadre:

What is the selection procedure for Short Service commission and Special Purpose Short Service commission in Pakistan Air Force:
To join Pakistan Air Force through Short Service commission or special program Short Service commission candidates have to register which they can directly through the Pakistan Air force website or by visiting the nearest Pakistan Air Force recruitment center with required documents.
After that candidate has to pass an intelligence and academic test. The academic test usually includes verbal and nonverbal type multiple choice questions and the academic test consists of multiple-choice questions from candidate subjects.
