What are the Technical Cadet Course Requirements?

- Candidate age should be from 17 years to 21 years.
- The only male can apply for Technical Cadet Course.

- The minimum height of the candidate should be 5 feet 4 inches and weight should be according to Body Mass Index.
- Candidate nationality should be Pakistani and domicile holder of Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir will be eligible for Technical Cadet Course.
- Candidates with 65% in FSC pre Engineering/ ICS will be eligible for Pakistan Army Technical Cadet Course.
- Those candidates who have passed their Fsc Part 1/ ICS Part 1 with a minimum of 65% should have to come with Hope Certificate from the head of the Institute at Pakistan Army Selection and Recruitment Center.
How to apply for Pakistan Army Technical Cadet Course?

Basically, there are two ways to apply for Technical Cadet Course which are given below:
You can join Pakistan Army Technical Cadet Course online through the internet by using the Pakistan Army official website. To apply online for the Technical Cadet course you must have an e-mail through which you will sign up at the Pakistan army website and get the official roll no. slip upon which date and time for your Technical Cadet Initial Test will be printed. After that, you have to visit Pakistan Army Selection & Recruitment Center where you will take your initial test on computer.
The second way to apply for Technical Cadet Course is to visit your nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center and submit the Technical Cadet Course application form with the required documents which include an Attested copy of your CNIC for 18 years old or above candidate, Attested copy of your B form and your guardian CNIC, 4 attests passport size photographs of yours from both sides, Original and 3 copies of the rejection letter from ISSB for Repeaters.

What is the Preliminary Selection Procedure for Technical Cadet Course?
So, after successfully applying for Pak Army Technical Cadet Course you will be notified about the date and time of your TCC Initial and academic test.
In initial or intelligence test they examine your intelligence by giving your characters and series, Diagrams, Shapes, and Puzzels type questions. There will be two Intelligence tests, Verbal Intelligence and Non-Verbal Intelligence test each containing approximately 65 MCQS which the candidate have to solve and clear in 30, 30 minutes respectively.
After successfully passing the Intelligence test, cadets have to go through the Written test which will be from English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. This written test is very important and the candidate must have to pass this test if he wants to join the Pakistan army as captain through TCC.
Now, AS&RC will allow only those cadets for physical tests who have passed their Intelligence and Written Test. The physical test includes 20 sit-ups in 2 minutes, 15 push-ups in 2 minutes, 15 chin-ups, 1.6 km running in 8 minutes, and a Ditch crossing of 7 feet 4 inches x 7 feet 4-inch width and 4 feet depth.
After successfully completing the TCC Physical Test cadet undergoes Preliminary Medical Test for Technical Cadet Course.
Further Selection Procedure in Technical Cadet Course:
Candidates will be shortlisted after the initial medical test and will be called for the ISSB test. Those candidates who clear ISSB Tests, Interviews will be recommended by ISSB for the medical examination at CHMs. The final selection of the candidates is carried out at GHQ by keeping in view the overall performance of the Candidate.

After the selection of cadet in Technical Cadet Course, the cadet will study Different types of Engineering at Army colleges or NUST according to his preferences. Actually, each candidate has to fill up a form and submit it to give suggestions about his preferred subject. Cadets get admission in different Engineering according to merit.
