Mithali Raj became the first Indian woman to score 10,000 runs in international cricket
Recently, Mithali Raj, the captain of the Indian women's ODI team has become the second woman and the first woman cricketer in the world to complete 10,000 runs in international cricket.
Mithali Raj completed 10,000 international runs in the third ODI being played at the Atal Bihari Bajpai Stadium in Lucknow. England's cricketer Charlotte Edwards was the first woman cricketer to complete 10,000 runs in international cricket.
Mithali Raj has scored 10,000 runs in international cricket at an average of 46.73. Mithali Raj is just 36 runs away from becoming the first female cricketer to score 7000 runs in One Day International.
Mithali Raj has scored 2364 runs in T20 International cricket at an average of 37.52. However, Mithali Raj has retired from international T20 cricket. She will be associated with the team as a captain till the next women's ODI World Cup.
