BISP - An Overview
Benazir Income Support Program was started by Federal Government of Pakistan in 2008 with an initial budget of Rs. 34 billion. This program was mainly initiated focusing millions of families living below the poverty line. These poor enrolled families get Rs.1000 per month from government as income support.
Farzana Raja is the Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Program.

Waseela-e-Rozgar
Waseela-e-Rozgar is a subsidiary program of BISP (Benazir Income Support Program). Females of poor families or their nominee will get Free Technical/ Vocational Education with monthly stipend. Currently per month allocation per nominee is set at Rs.6000 from which Rs.2000 will be given in cash to the participants. Expenditures of accommodation (if applicable), study material and other monthly expenditures will be provided by government from remaining Rs.4000. 

Currently courses of 4 week, 3-6 months and one year are being offered while in future 2 years diploma will also be offered.

If anyone wants to count major good projects of current PPP government, BISP is on top of these. BISP is giving some relief to poor Pakistani families through its schemes i.e. Waseela e Haq, Waseela e Sehat, Waseela e Taleem and Waseela e Rozgar etc.
